Our philosophy is to provide highly intense skill-oriented camps for local youth hockey players using top-notch coaches. The Chicago Blackhawks are committed to increasing participation and raising the platform for amateur hockey players in the Midwest.

Weekly Camp Highlights
  • Two on-ice sessions per day, including daily scrimmages
  • On-ice sessions will focus on individual skill development, positional and team play through combination drills, stations and controlled scrimmages

Eddie Olczyk, Head Camp Instructor
  • 16-year NHL veteran and Stanley Cup champion (drafted by Chicago; played for the Blackhawks, Pittsburgh, Toronto, Winnipeg, the New York Rangers and Los Angeles)
  • Elected to the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame in 2012
  • Grew up in Chicago and played for Team Illinois, Niles MinorHawks and Brother Rice High School
  • Member of the 1984 Olympic Men’s Ice Hockey Team
  • In his eighth season as the TV Color Analyst for Blackhawks hockey on Comcast SportsNet and WGN-TV
Troy Murray, Guest Instructor
  • 12-year NHL veteran (played for the Blackhawks, Jets, Senators, Penguins and Avalanche)
  • Became the first Blackhawk player to win the Frank J. Selke Award for the NHL's top defensive forward
  • Member of the 1996 Stanley Cup champion Colorado Avalanche
  • In his 14th year as a member of the Blackhawks broadcast team and his eighth year as the radio Color Analyst
Denis Savard, Guest Instructor
  • Blackhawks player (1980-90 and 1994-97); played for the Canadiens in between his two stints with Chicago
  • His No. 18 was retired on March 19, 1998 at the United Center
  • Hockey Hall of Famer and Stanley Cup champion
  • One of two players in franchise history to record 100-plus points in a season
  • Blackhawks Ambassador
Annie Camins, Camp Director
  • Blackhawks Director of Youth Hockey
  • Captain of the University of New Hampshire Division I ice hockey team
  • Finalist for the 1998 Women’s Olympic Ice Hockey Team, who captured a gold medal in Nagano, Japan
