Four Feathers Golf Invitational
Presented By Bud Light
Chicago Blackhawk Charities hosts an annual golf tournament at the exclusive Sunset Ridge Country Club. This high-class event features the entire Blackhawk hockey team and former Blackhawk greats teamed with each foursome, a golf clinic, lunch, dinner, awards and auctions. The tournament, one of Blackhawk Charities' biggest fundraisers, is attended by every member of the team.

Season Ticketholder Party
The Chicago Blackhawk team, along with Full Season Ticketholders and Suite Holders, enjoy a private affair each season at the annual Season Ticketholder Party. Each year at the party, fans open their hearts by bidding on silent auction items, raffle tickets and merchandise to benefit Chicago Blackhawk Charities and further its support of underprivileged and abused children.

Zamboni Rides
For a $500 donation, Blackhawk fans can ride the Zamboni at a Blackhawks game. Each rider will also receive an 8x10 photo as a memento of the experience. Zamboni rides are available during pre-game, which would give riders the opportunity to watch the visiting team warm-up, and during the first and second intermissions. Subject to availability with at least a 48-hour notice. Riders must be at least 48" tall. All proceeds benefit Chicago Blackhawk Charities.

Birthdays & Group Welcomes
For a $100 donation, Blackhawk fans can welcome, congratulate or wish a close friend Happy Birthday on the Blackhawks Scoreboard. The message will appear on the center videoboard during the first intermission and the fan will receive one photo of the message. All proceeds benefit Chicago Blackhawk Charities.

Home Team Goals
Presented by Verizon Wireless
Verizon Wireless donates money for every goal scored by the Blackhawks during a regular season home game. Money is donated to Chicago Blackhawk Charities, which supports domestic youth violence prevention.

Community Initiatives

Chicago Gateway Green
Since the teams inception in 1926, the Chicago Blackhawks have pledged to support programs and institutions that seek to create a better tomorrow for our fans and the millions of people through out Illinois and Northwest Indiana. Chicago Gateway Green provides the Blackhawks with a comprehensive community initiative that aims to educate our fan base to be leaders in responsible environmental development. With our Chicago Gateway Green partnership, the current generation of Blackhawks staff and fans can help to lead the charge in leaving our environment in a better condition for the generations to follow.

Chicago Pet Adoption

Hospital Visits
Each season, Chicago Blackhawk players and coaches visit local children's hospitals to sign autographs, pose for pictures, participate in games or craft activities and interact with children. In the past, the Blackhawks have visited The University of Chicago Hospitals, Children's Memorial Hospital, Shriners Hospital for Children and the Ronald McDonald Children's Hospital of Loyola University Medical Center.

Brett Weber is a 12-year-old boy from South Elgin who was recently diagnosed with leukemia and is currently undergoing treatment. Please join his fight and become a "Warrior for Weber." Good Sports, Inc.
We are proud to announce Good Sports, Inc. as our official equipment partner! Good Sports is a nonprofit organization that provides sports equipment for disadvantaged youth participating in sports programs in the Chicagoland area. Good Sports encourages programs in need to apply for a grant by filling out the grant application form provided on their website – www.goodsports.org.

National Hockey League Initiatives

Hockey Is For Everyone
The Hockey is for Everyone initiative is a component of "The Biggest Assist Happens off the Ice," the National Hockey League's social responsibility program that builds on the League's long-standing tradition of addressing important social issues in North America and around the world.

Hockey is for Everyone provides support and unique programming to non-profit youth hockey organizations across North America that are committed to offering children of all backgrounds opportunities to play hockey. The initiative is supported by NHL member clubs, players, NHL alumni, and fans. To date, Hockey is for Everyone has exposed close to 45,000 boys and girls to unique hockey experiences. Hockey Fights Cancer
Hockey Fights Cancer is a joint initiative founded in December 1998 by the NHL and the NHL Players Association to raise money and awareness for hockey's most important fight. Hockey Fights Cancer is supported by NHL Member Clubs, NHL Alumni, the NHL Officials' Association, Professional Hockey Trainers and Equipment Managers, marketing partners, broadcast partners and fans throughout North America. The charity's largest initiative is the annual Hockey Fights Cancer On-Line Charity Auction. Coinciding with festivities surrounding the NHL All-Star Game, the auction has raised more than $1.6 million since it began in 2000.

  • Once-In-A-Lifetime Online Charity Auction: Each year, the Chicago Blackhawks offer one lucky bidder an exclusive package that includes tickets, that includes tickets, a Zamboni ride, the chance to meet Blackhawk players and more. This offer is available for auction on the NHL website as part of Hockey Fights Cancer awareness month.
  • Online Jersey Auction: Each season, the team captain of each NHL team wears a special Hockey Fights Cancer patch at a select game in January. These jerseys are then auctioned online to benefit Hockey Fights Cancer.
  • Hockey's All-Star Kids: This program facilitates interaction between players and young patients with cancer and other illnesses in childhood. The Blackhawks make yearly visits to hospitals to spend time with the young patients.
