Troy Parchman is in his 20th year with the Chicago Blackhawks after joining the organization in 1994. A native of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Parchman has more than 29 years of equipment management experience. He served as Equipment Manager for the University of Saskatchewan football and hockey teams from 1982-88, while earning undergraduate degrees in physical education and sociology.

From 1988 to 1994, Parchman served as Equipment Manager for the Canadian national hockey team, where he worked consecutive World Championships from 1991 to 1994.

Parchman has received numerous professional honors, such as being selected to provide equipment management services for the Canadian hockey squad at the 1992 and 1994 Winter Olympic Games, as well as the 2003 NHL All-Star Game and 2004 World Championship.

He and his wife, Whitney, have a son, Evan, and reside in the suburbs.
